Iran begins Ten-Day ceremonies marking victory of Islamic Revolution

Iranians have begun Ten-Day Dawn celebrations to mark the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution that toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime.

Leader visits Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum

As of every year, the ceremonies began with a visit by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum. The mausoleum, south of the capital Tehran, also hosts senior Iranian officials, as well as ordinary people, particularly on the first day of the celebrations.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei paid tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini.
