The meeting was held with presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi and Hojjat al-slam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization and other senior members from various institutions.
The Imam Khomeini World Award is the highest Badge of Honor of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is granted to the most effective real and legal entities active in the field of promoting Imam Khomeini's School of Thought.
In this latest meeting, a report was presented on the efforts undertaken on the matter and the members discussed and reviewed the details for finalizing the process for the reputed award.
It would be the most prominent prize on Imam and the Islamic Revolution on the national and international arena, which will be awarded in two theoretical and practical sections.
The award will be given to outstanding and distinguished scientific works, as well as influential and extensive intellectual, political and social actions and activities, and to the most effective individuals and legal entities.
The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, heads of the organizations and policy councils could be the recipients of the Imam Khomeini World Prize.
