Imam Khomeini’s poetry recited and discussed on sidelines of Quranic exhibition


A gathering of intellectuals, poets, artists, university and seminary professors have been held to discuss various perspectives of Imam Khomeini’s poetry.

The poetry gathering titled "Badeh Eshgh" was organized at the International Exhibition of the Holy Quran by the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works.

A number of poets recited phrases from Imam’s poetry while intellectuals delivered speeches, lectures about various aspects of Imam’s poetry.

The gathering was attended by Dr. Ali Komsari, the head of the institute and Mohammad Reza Abdollahifard, the director of the international affairs department.

The precious works by Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, contains treasure of mysticism and comprises of interdisciplinary discussion on a range of topics. 

Pundits believe that Imam Khomeini's poetry was exclusively a means for the manifestation of his mystical thoughts while praying to God and feeling deep spiritual impact on devotees.

The poetry left by Imam Khomeini contains deep mystical, philosophical and social concepts.
